The Race & The Cross

In life, the "race" begins the day you are born.  Your race is your story, your journey, the life you have lived and the legacy you leave behind.  Our race has many roads - but the race has only ONE finish line.  For Isaiah (Ike) the creator of LOVEhill, the finish was September 18, 2014.  He ran a good race, in fact he ran a great race.  Even with its detours and difficult roads, crossing that finish was not derailed.  As he stepped across his victory line, a cross of love bridged the two roads and Ike entered an eternal road.  In God's word-the BIBLE, Paul writes to Timothy: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." - 2 Timothy 4:7.  Ike's love for Jesus and faith in his salvation through Jesus' death on the cross never waivered.  He tells that story with the LOVEhill.  Ike finished his earthly life with a fight that ultimately took him to the next chapter of his life story.
