Have you ever doubted where you'll spend eternity after your life on earth is complete?
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). We have all thought, done or said bad things, which the Bible calls "sin". But there's good news I want to share with you, you can be forgiven of all those sins! Jesus died in our place so we could have a relationship with God and be with Him forever. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). His death on the cross wasn't the end, He rose and He still lives!!! For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Jesus is the ONLY way to God! Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6). Would you like to receive God’s forgiveness and spend eternal life with Him?! A - Admit you are a sinner, repent and turn away from your sins. B - Believe that Christ died for your sins and ask for His forgiveness. C - Confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and Savior. Commit to following and trusting him with all your heart. We are saved by God's grace when we have faith in His Son, Jesus. Dear Heavenly Father, I admit that I am a sinner and want to turn away from my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and I ask you right now for forgiveness for those sins. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and I want to commit my life to following and trusting Him with all my heart. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen. If you prayed this prayer and would feel comfortable letting us know, we want to praise God with you!! We would also love to share more information on how you can grow your relationship with Him! Please contact us through our LOVEhill Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/LOVEhill-315953171935322/ or by emailing us at lovehill5k@gmail.com. God loves you and has a plan for your life! For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11).

The covering of snow on the LOVEhill today is a reminder of the message of the cross. Snow is covering the dead brown grass waiting for the warm sun to bring it back to life.
Does your life ever feel like dead grass waiting to grow? As you look at the image of the LOVEhill cross beautifully covered by pure-white-clean snow, please know that you are not alone. YOU are loved by God. A love so great that God sent His one and only son to die on a cross. The LOVEhill cross is surrounded by one word LOVE. It's Jesus' love and death on the cross that promises new life. Just like the snow covering dead grass, Jesus's blood covers you and makes you pure before God with a promise of new life. Reference to Jesus' blood include the reality that He literally bled and died for sinners. The blood of Christ has the power to atone for an infinite number of sins committed by an infinite number of people throughout the ages. All who believe, by faith, rests in this blood will be saved. The blood of Christ is the basis of the New Covenant. Jesus said, on the night before He went to the cross. "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you." Luke 22:20 "God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, ''I love you.''" — Billy Graham In life, the "race" begins the day you are born. Your race is your story, your journey, the life you have lived and the legacy you leave behind. Our race has many roads - but the race has only ONE finish line. For Isaiah (Ike) the creator of LOVEhill, the finish was September 18, 2014. He ran a good race, in fact he ran a great race. Even with its detours and difficult roads, crossing that finish was not derailed. As he stepped across his victory line, a cross of love bridged the two roads and Ike entered an eternal road. In God's word-the BIBLE, Paul writes to Timothy: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." - 2 Timothy 4:7. Ike's love for Jesus and faith in his salvation through Jesus' death on the cross never waivered. He tells that story with the LOVEhill. Ike finished his earthly life with a fight that ultimately took him to the next chapter of his life story.
