When Ike first came to me about this idea he had sketched on paper, a rough drawing of the LOVEhill, he said "The ultimate form of love is Jesus dying on the cross". That's how the LOVEhill began. -Bradly Sunanday

The LOVEhill was created by Isaiah "Ike" Sunanday. His living legacy and testimony of God's love to his family, friends, neighbors, and White Deer Run treatment facility staff and residents. A faithful follower of Jesus, Ike had a love and passion for serving the Lord and others, most notably when he volunteered on numerous mission trips including the Red Cross Katrina Disaster Relief, Dream for Africa in Swaziland, Africa, Operation Mobilization Logos/Hope Ship in Aruba and Curacao, Christ Wesleyan Church Medical Mission in Guatemala, Life Church/Life Clinic of Allentown in Haiti and Kids Around the World playground ministry in Zambia, Africa. Ike found joy in being active, excelling in athletics, especially baseball, which he shared enthusiastically, with his family and friends. He had a love of nature and the outdoors, cherishing his moments in the woods, whether deer hunting or spending time alone with the Lord in the beauty of his family's property. There was no place he would rather spend time, than in the company of family and friends. Ike devoted his life, both personally and professionally, to always finding the best in people, compassionately and unconditionally loving those around him and bringing the utmost joy and happiness to everyone that was blessed enough to have known him. Ike hobbies included creating and maintaining his “LOVE” hill on the family farm, running, biking, kayaking, playing on various softball and volleyball leagues, and attending Little League World Series. |
